A. Yes! Horizon Restoration has a five (5) year warranty on workmanship.

Q. What insurance companies do you work with?
A. All of them. Horizon Restoration's management team has built the company around the relationships of not only the end-user but the insurance company as well. Our project managers will maintain a high level of communication on your behalf with the insurance company to ensure that you receive the quality service and workmanship that you deserve.

Q. How long will it take to get me back in my property?
A. Securing your property and starting the mitigation process is Horizon Restoration's first goal and can commence immediately. Horizon will do everything possible to expedite the process to get your life back to normal.

Q. What are the steps of restoration?
A. Horizon Restoration's position is to restore the property to pre-loss condition while maintaining the billing process through your insurance company.
  • Secure/Shore up the property if needed
  • Remove, repair, clean and store any contents while the reconstruction is in progress. (if needed)
  • Meet with your insurance company to agree on the scope of work that is to be completed. Prepare a written estimate for the work that is agreed.
  • Commence the work to repair your property to its pre-loss condition.
  • Perform a final walk through of your property to ensure that all work is completed to your satisfaction. Provide your insurance company with a customer satisfaction form signed by you with the final billing.

Q. Will Horizon Restoration be able to clean and restore my contents?
A. Horizon Restoration will do an exceptional job with your content cleaning and a lot of times are able to clean items that most think can not be cleaned. It's very important to remember that each case is different and will be treated as such. When restoring contents time is of the essence and the longer that items remain unattended, the higher the risk and inability becomes to get these items clean and restored.

Q. Where will I live while my property is being restored? (if needed)
A. If you own your property, your insurance policy will most likely cover temporary housing costs such as hotels, rental property, meals and other living expenses. You should check with your insurance agent to ensure that these costs will be covered. The local Red Cross can also provide emergency shelter.

Q. What pricing does Horizon Restoration use?
A. Horizon Restoration uses insurance approved independent estimating software. Xactimate is used to ensure industry standard, fair and competitive pricing. Xactimate is the leading insurance damage repair estimating software. It is used by insurance carriers to process most claims in the U.S. and Canada.

Q. Is ther any thing that I need to do before work begins?
A. Horizon Restoration would like you to remove any firearms and jewelry. Due to the sensitivity of these objects Horizon Restoration will not clean them. Make sure that pictures/video has been taken of the property for documentation for the insurance claim.

Q. What do I need to do to get started?
A. Select the restoration professional that you believe is best suited to you. Horizon Restoration requires a work authorization contract to allow us to bill your insurance company as well as any documentation that your insurance company may have you sign and then we will start the process of rebuilding your lives!
